On a sunny spring day in Acton, it was a joy and a pleasure to welcome a gathering of guests to celebrate the grand opening of Cooperative Elder Services, Inc.’s Adult Day Health Center located at 30 Sudbury Road, Suite 1 South, in Acton, MA. This celebration was more than a year in the making, a year in which we have been proud to be open and serving older adults and their caregivers from the town of Acton as well as many surrounding communities.
We are grateful to State Senator James B Eldridge, State Representative Danillo A. Sena, Town of Acton Economic Development Director Julie Pierce Onos, Acton Select Board Members David Martin and Dean Charter, and more than 40 guests from the community who attended this celebratory event and learned more about the services Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. centers provide.
During the celebration Senator Jamie Eldridge presented Erica Johnson, Executive Director of Cooperative Elder Services, Inc., with an official Citation from the Massachusetts State Senate in recognition of her leadership and service to older adults in the Commonwealth and her outstanding contributions to the field of adult day health services.
We are proud to be a part of a community that places a great deal of importance on supporting individuals and families as they live, work, and age. Our service coordination team welcomes inquiries and individual tours at any time throughout the year.
Special thanks to our event silver sponsors: Eckel, Hoag & O’Connor Attorneys at Law, and Emerson Hospital; bronze sponsor: Concord Park Senior Living; and community sponsor: Enterprise Bank, Acton!
