Opportunity and Organization:

Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) is seeking a Service Coordinator to join our team within our Arlington center. CESI’s Service Coordinator works collaboratively with leadership and staff teams to create care environments for older adults that are welcoming, safe, and supported by clinical expertise.

Details and Vision:

The Service Coordinator responds to inquiries, processes participant referrals, conducts intake assessments, and is responsible for coordinating each participant’s admission process with a multi-disciplinary team and other service providers. Additionally, this role increases CESI’s visibility in the community with outreach activities organized in collaboration with senior leadership team members.

The role is designed for a person with a high level of professionalism, an interest in care work, and a passion for excellence in service delivery. Daily tasks involve scheduling and managing a pipeline of inquiries with strong communication and follow through.

The Service Coordinator position is full-time and requires working on-site at CESI’s centers to participate with staff and participants in daily operations. The right candidate will have experience working in a highly regulated environment, and ideally in adult programming of some capacity.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required; LICSW or LCSW preferred
  • Minimum 2 year experience in a human services role
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Experience working with older adults preferred
